What to expect

During your free consultation, we will discuss the nature of the problem and determine together whether I am the right fit to help you achieve your goals. Once we agree to begin our work, our sessions will take place in one of my offices (Monterey or San Francisco), or over a HIPAA-compliant telehealth system.
As we work together and learn more about what you'd like to achieve, we will formulate your goals for therapy, and we will revisit and make adjustments as necessary.

FAQs

Do you take insurance?

I am currently paneled with United Health Care (UHC), and Aetna. I do not accept other insurances at this time, but at your request I will provide you with a "superbill" that you can submit for reimbursement to your insurance provider if you have "out of network" benefits.

How long does each therapy session take?

Each session will last 50 minutes. The frequency of meetings will depend on the nature and severity of the problem, and other situational factors.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, I do offer a sliding scale that we can discuss if you are unable to pay the full fee. We can also discuss alternative options, like a referral to another resource.
